Good morning.
It’s been a while since we spoke here.
As always I’ve been a busy bastard with many plates spinning at once, especially my latest project, "Power Aesthetic."
Since beginning that weekly email and podcast, the feedback has been ringing loud and clear:
"This is great, but please start doing the Seed again, too."
It wasn’t something I had planned on doing this soon, until a two-hour phone call yesterday changed my mind.
I was speaking to a long time, very close friend of mine, who some of you are probably familiar with- he runs a gym out of Rochester, New York, and is one of the best strength and movement coaches on planet earth.
We covered a lot of ground, including my recent de-platforming from social media, as well as his issues with much of the same - censorship, signal blockage, and the general "war for the mind" that is occurring at such a savage pace right now in the world.
For some, a ban from social media means not being able to troll comments threads or get their dopamine kick from a few "likes"- for me it meant the loss of tens of thousands a year in e-commerce income, forcing major lifestyle shifts as I scrambled to make my ends elsewhere.
We also discussed retail investing, the crazy situation with the Gamestop and AMC thing.
If you’re not up to speed, the extremely simplified version is this:
Retail (that is, individuals who are not professionals) investors utilized social media and the internet to create a situation of insane market volatility as part of a direct economic attack on hedge fund owners.
The response: popular trading app Robinhood (possibly in collusion with the hedge funds) shut down individuals ability to trade these stocks, blocking normal people from being able to get in on the action- many people lost a great deal of money from these last-minute sanctions from Big Tech.
The point of all this is - there are plenty of people out there who essentially have a vested interest in keeping you poor.
If you think the "wrong" things, say the "wrong" things, believe the "wrong" things, or even associate with the "wrong" people, your entire platform can be taken away in the blink of an eye, costing you (possibly) your entire livelihood.
Even if you play it safe, or subscribe to all the current narratives (careful, they change every day, so make sure you keep up!), you might make a mistake that results in serious penalties enforced on you by the watchful eye of the thought police.
In the past year, I have seen countless people very close to me (and myself!) lose their jobs, have their signal blacked out, be blocked from online payment processors, undergo de-platforming from both merchant sites and regular platforms like WordPress...and even email providers and bank accounts get closed.
None of this has served to extinguish my fire, and has in fact simply made me realize that I will just have to work harder to get where I’m going.
At this point, one thing has become clear to me:
Although a positive reason is better than a negative one for doing anything, sometimes the added fuel of righteous anger can be useful as well.
I have decided to add a reason to my list for making money and attaining wealth: revenge.
And, in the words of the illustrious Nate Dogg, "it ain’t no fun if the homies can’t get none," so I made the decision to crank this project back up and bring y'all into the mix.
So- let’s dig back into this...I want us all to make enough money to use it as a weapon, the way the super-wealthy are able to use it, to literally change the world around them through leveraging it like a blunt object.
I want to collaborate, to support others, to create an army of free-thinkers with enough money to go to war against this current environment of master and slave, and engage in a revolt…
That revolt will be fought with the one weapon, the one vote, the one energy source that makes the most impact in today’s world: currency.
The Seed will begin as a weekly, and we will cover lots of ground- branding, marketing, selling, email list building, personal financial responsibility and budgeting, generating extra revenue streams- even trading and crypto-currency.
